Elizee Arceneaux, Jr. passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at the age of 95. He was the beloved husband of the late Hilda Garcia Arceneaux and Frances Sconza Arceneaux. Loving father of Linda Caddell (Dennis), Wayne Joseph Arceneaux and Donald Arceneaux (Dawn). Son of the late Elizee Arceneaux Sr. and Emily Martin Arceneaux. Brother of the late Mazie Cleveland, Enola Gallo, Lilly Mae Lewis and Marie Croal. Proud grandfather of Dennis Caddell Jr., Derek Arceneaux and Emily Arceneaux. Also survived by nieces, nephews, stepchildren and friends.
Elizee was a proud United States Navy Veteran and served aboard the USS Enterprise. He retired from the United States Postal Service after many years of service. Elizee loved to dance and especially spending time with his family and friends. He will be forever remembered and deeply missed all who knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Monday, December 19, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. He will be laid to rest with military honors in Lakelawn Park Mausoleum.
