Anna Elsensohn Labourdette, age 94 years, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Amos L. Labourdette for 68 years. Loving mother of Barry A. Labourdette (Betty), Trudy L. Millet (Daniel), and Desiree L. Lamanette (J.D.). Sister of Gloria Ducote and the late Shirley O’Meallie. Grandmother of Shelley Reed, Barry Labourdette, Jr., Dana Farmer, Sherry Dolese, Brad Dolese, Tammy Bretey, Daniel Millet, Jr. “Butch”, Michelle King, and the late Rachelle Candebat. Also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
A native of New Orleans, LA, a longtime former resident of both Arabi and Chalmette, LA and most recently a resident of Windsor Senior Community in Mandeville, LA.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
