Alex A. Menesses passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the age of 64. Beloved son of Marion Recurt Menesses and the late Alex A. Menesses. Loving brother of Michael Menesses (Patti), Susan Menesses, Pamela Menesses (GiGi) and Glenda Bringol (Chris). Proud uncle of Michael Menesses Jr. (Dana) and Brandon Menesses (Rita). Great Uncle of Ayden, Corynne, Etta, Rose and Alex.
Alex was born on February 25, 1953 in New Orleans, LA and was an avid sports fan. He was a long time resident of St. Bernard Parish and a current resident of Lacombe, LA. Alex will be deeply missed by all who were touched by his love, kindness, laughter and compassion.
Relatives and friends were invited to attend a visitation held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Monday, April 24th from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. A funeral Mass began at 3:00 p.m. He was laid to rest in St. Bernard memorial Gardens.
