Chalmette Elementary School Drama Club transported audience to a whole new world

The Chalmette Elementary School Drama Club held their production of Aladdin Jr. at the Chalmette High School Cultural Arts Center on Saturday, May 13th, 2017. The performers, 3rd-5th graders, had been practicing and learning the play since late October.

Play performers are Asma Askar (Ensemble), Rashawn Bangham (Palace Guard), Robert “Beau” Benge (The Sultan), Imani Brock (Narrator IV), Aubrey Broom (Ensemble), Line Buie (Ensemble/ Jasmine Understudy), Joylin Burns (Princess Jasmine), Christian Dodt (Jafar), Emma Domino (Narrator III), Le’Andra Gentry (Ensemble), Samai Hamilton (Ensemble), Kayden Hutchinson (The Artist Formerly Known as “The Prince”), Alex Jorns (Narrator I), Carmen King (Narrator III), Bob Manuel (Genie), Abeedra Nguyen (Ensemble), Brooklyn Petitfils (Razoul), Richard Quiroz (Al/ Aladdin), Celina Robinson (The Magic Carpet), Kylee Schallenberg (Narrator V), Nathan Schallenberg (Iago), Christopher Tabora (Prince Dadu Rhan Rhan), Jayden Tardy (Prince Baba of Ganoush), Ryan Tatum (Stage Manager), and Zaylee Wolf (Ensemble).

The cast coming down stairs after their performance to see a crowd of family, friends, and local supporters.
