The Kiwanis Club and Kiwanis Foundation announced the recipients of their 2017 scholarship award at Rocky and Carlos’s Sicilian Room on May 16 honoring the recipients and their families. The following scholarships were awarded:
- The Bienvenu/Kiwanis Club Key Club Scholarship – Savannah Montoya
- The Gulf Coast/Kiwanis Club Key Club Scholarship – Tiffani Poteet
- The Kiwanis Foundation Scholarship Award – Dillon Melerine
- The Kiwanis Foundation Leadership Award – Savannah Montoya
The Kiwanis Foundation will be announcing the recipient of the Nunez Vo-Tech Scholarship in July. Total awards for scholarships from the Kiwanis Club and Kiwanis Foundation total $16,000 each year.
