Mary Theobold passed away at her home surrounded by family on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at the age of 79. Beloved wife of the late Ferdinand “Ferdie” Theobold for 61 years. Loving mother of Darlene Theobold Maiaro (Eddie) and Lisa Theobold Seube (Butch). Daughter of the late Bert Bernard Sr. and Elodie Brown Bernard. Sister of the late Bert Bernard Jr. (the late Edith), Mitchell Bernard (the late Mel), Betty Zammit (the late Pete) and Joseph Donald Bernard (Lynn). Proud grandmother of Wendell Babin Jr. (Amanda), Jill Calato (Stephen), B.J. Seube, Tyler Seube (Robyn) and Trace Seube. Great grandmother of Alissa Babin, Bryce Babin, Ian Calato, Kai Seube and Elizabeth Seube. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Mary was born on March 9, 1938 in New Orleans, LA and was a long time resident of St. Bernard Parish. She will be forever remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mary will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
