Annette Frances Baloes Campo

Annette Frances Baloes Campo passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at the age of 81.  Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she had touched in some way throughout her very memorable life. She was the cherished wife of the late Leroy C. Campo Sr.  Loving mother of Leroy Campo Jr., Phillip Campo (Michele), Fermin Campo, Michelle C. Donnelly (Rowdy), Catherine C. Nunez (John) and the late Scott Campo.  Daughter of the late Fermin and Catherine Baloes.  Sister of the late Helen Helmke, Tony Corroa and John Baloes.  Proud grandmother of Annette Phillips, Jason Sharp, Josh Galjour, Phillip Campo, Shannon Shultz, Ashley Morgan, Gabrielle Donnelly, Kelsey Nunez and Matthew Nunez. Great grandmother of Noah Sharp, Landon Sharp, Madison Sharp, Louis Phillips, Scott Phillips, Kali Campo, Kadin Campo, Grant Shultz, Gavin Shultz and Averie Baldridge. She is also survived and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Annette was born in New Orleans, LA and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish.  She found pleasure in the simple joys of everyday life and cared deeply for others. She was well loved and will be remembered for her dedication to her family, her loving spirit, her laughter and spoiling the grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by us all.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Friday, July 7, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. and again on Saturday morning from 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., followed by a celebration of Annette’s life beginning at 11:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery, New Orleans, LA.
