Linda Melerine Perez passed away on Monday, July 10, 2017 at the age of 78. Beloved mother of Shannon Perez. Former wife of the late Ronald “Ronnie” Perez. Daughter of the late Emile Melerine and Josephine Friere Melerine. Sister of Wayne Melerine and the late Clyde E. Melerine (the late Joan). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Linda was born on March 20, 1939 in New Orleans, LA and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish. She worked for many years as a hairdresser. Linda will be forever remembered and deeply missed by her family and friends.
