Mrs. Shelley Lacoste, a First Grade Teacher at Arlene Meraux Elementary, celebrated and honored Johnny Appleseed’s birthday. The class read books about his life, created an apple orchard, dissected apples and graphed their seeds. Students also made Apple People. Finally, students sang happy birthday to him over apple gogurt and apple juice.
