St. Bernard Gives Back will be having a spaghetti dinner Wednesday October 11, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Chalmette High Cafeteria to raise funds to benefit hurricane victims. Dinner will be $10.00 per plate, dine in or take out. There will also be a parade of prizes, dessert sale, and a 50/50 raffle. SBGB just came back for Orange Texas where we distributed over 500 meals, gave away cleaning kits and other needed items at the Community Christian Church.
St. Bernard Gives Back is an organization that formed after Hurricane Katrina devastated our entire community. It was the many volunteers that came to our aid at our lowest time that not only helped gut our homes, but also rebuild our community. They gave us hope – hope for a better tomorrow. In appreciation and gratitude to those special individuals, this organization emerged as a means to Pay it Forward to those that endure natural disasters as we once did.
