The Chalmette High School Alumni Association has scheduled its annual fall general membership meeting for Thursday, November 2, at 6:15 p.m. in the tech theater located in the Chalmette High Cultural Arts Building on Palmisano Blvd. Included on the agenda are topics concerning Alumni Association activities in 2018 and the nomination and election of officers and the Board of Directors for the 2017-2019 term. Attendees are welcomed to be our guests at the CHS Live’s performance of “Inspector General” in the main theater at 7:00 p.m.
The Association is currently conducting its annual membership drive. Please remember that membership is not limited to CHS alumni only. Graduates of Andrew Jackson, P.G.T. Beauregard, St. Bernard and Maumus High Schools, as well as all friends of CHS, are encouraged to join as Alumni by Choice (ABC) members. Dues are $10 per membership year (September through August). You may join or renew your membership at the meeting; but if you cannot attend, go to our webpage at www.chs.sbpsb.org and click on the Alumni link to download the membership form and mail it along with your dues to the CHS Alumni Association, c/o Chalmette High School, 1100 E. Judge Perez Drive, Chalmette, LA 70043. Checks should be made payable to CHSAA. If you are unable to download and print the membership form, please be sure to include your name, mailing address, email address, phone number and year graduated when mailing in your check. Please indicate if you are an ABC member or a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School, St. Bernard High School or P.G.T. Beauregard High School.
The Alumni Association wishes to thank everyone who attended the annual fall social in September making it a big success once again. We welcome all new members who recently joined the association and thank all who have renewed their memberships. We hope you will join us at our meeting on Thursday, November 2nd and the CHS Live performance that follows. We also hope that you will consider becoming an active member of the Alumni Association as it begins its twenty-sixth year of service and support to the students, faculty, and administration of Chalmette High School.
