Please join us for Coastal Connections on November 6

We know that you’ve experienced firsthand the effects of coastal land loss, but did you know that since 2007 the state has invested billions of dollars in protection and restoration efforts in coastal Louisiana?

Come connect with staff members from the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority to learn about the Mid-Barataria and Mid-Breton Sediment Diversions – projects that will reconnect the Mississippi River to its basin, to rebuild and sustain the wetlands.

Coastal Connections will be held on November 6, 2017, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the St. Bernard Government Building, Council Chambers (8201 W. Judge Perez Drive, Chalmette).

Coastal Connections is an opportunity for residents to come and visit with CPRA staff in an informal setting to ask questions, pick up educational materials and provide feedback.

Together, we can restore our coast for future generations.
