Mary C. Nelton passed away on November 16, 2017, at the young age of 94. She was a lifelong resident of Chalmette.
She was the happy wife of the late Jeffery J. Nelton, Sr. and the mother of the late Jeffery J. Nelton, Jr., the late Mary Ann Smiling, and is survived by James Ward. She was the grandmother of Bernadette Achee’, Ronald J. Bouffine, Jr., Jeffery, Sheldon, and Donovan Ward, and Maggie Brouillette. She was the great-grandmother of Brianna, Joseph, Emily, Delilah, and Angelina. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
