On December 2, 2017, Heaven gained its littlest angel, Kaisyen Busta Odis. He was 2 months old. Kaisyen was the cherished son of Christopher W. Odis Jr. and Destiny Rose Ruiz. Grandson of Pam Garcia, Christopher Odis Sr., Deme “JR” Naquin, Sheena Naquin, Roberto Garcia, Donna Ruiz, Rose Callen, Darin Callen and the late Robert “Busta” Applegate Jr.
Great-grandson of Josanna Applegate, Robert Applegate Sr., Leon Joseph Brunet Jr., Donnie Ray Naquin Sr., Betty Naquin and the late Teresa Corde. Nephew of Paul Leleaux IV, Jason Bertucci, Amberliy LeBoeuf, Martin Carbajal Jr., Kirk Carbajal, Roberto Odis, Carlos Odis, Rubi Garcia, Abby Dardar, Dena Naquin and Dina Naquin. He is also survived by many great aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Kaisyen was a cheerful baby, always full of smiles and he loved his mommy, his daddy, and Mickey Mouse. He brought pure joy and happiness to everyone fortunate enough to know him. Although Kaisyen’s life on earth was brief, he will be forever missed and eternally loved.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Saturday, December 9, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. He will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
