Dunkin Donuts celebrated the opening of its newest location with a ribbon cutting at 8609
W. Judge Perez Drive in Chalmette. On hand for the Ribbon Cutting were a number of elected officials, Chamber members and other business leaders from the community. At the ribbon cutting ceremony, Dunkin Donuts gave away free samples, coupons for discounted menu offerings, and free coffee for a year to the store’s first 100 guests. The restaurant presented a check in the amount of $1,000 to Children’s Hospital of New Orleans.
The restaurant is open daily from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and features donuts, coffee, frozen drinks, baked goods, sandwiches, and wraps. They also feature items with the DDSMART logo which is an item that is reduced in calories, fat, saturated fat, sugar or sodium by at least 25% compared to a base product.
