Mary Louise Folse Lee passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, December 29, 2017, at the age of 78. She was the beloved wife of Ernest A. Lee for 61 years. Loving mother of Steven A. Lee (Janelle), Susan L. Corso (Vick) and Sandra L. Kazik (Mike). Daughter of the late Milton Folse and Ozella Ditchell Folse. Sister of the late Milton Folse Jr., Gloria Deffes, and Rodney Folse. Proud grandmother Daniel Lee (Christy), Amanda Lee, Stacia Seeling (Buster), Vick Corso, Angela Corso, Nicholas Corso, Kristle Spicuzza (Giovanni) and Stephanie Franzo (Bobby). Great-grandmother of Kamryn, Brayden, Brendan, Kylee, Frank, Lillian, Vick, Alissa, Leah, Gino, and Reagan. Also survived and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Mary was born on January 12, 1939, in New Orleans, LA. She was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish and a current resident of Madisonville, LA. She was a former employee of the State of Louisiana and retired from Charity Hospital after 35 years of dedicated service. Mary was a “True Folse” and will be forever remembered and deeply missed by her family and friends.
