Joycelyn Albert Kloeber passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017, at the age of 69. She was the beloved mother of Sherri Quarterman, Roy Kloeber III, and the late Lisa Marie Kloeber. Former wife and mother of his children, the late Roy “Scooter” Kloeber II. Daughter of the late Jacob and Ellen Bozes Albert. Sister of Darlyn Champagne and Marilyn Descant. Godmother of Michelle Jaynes and Ryan Ruiz. Aunt of Tracie Bliss and Joshua Descant. She is also survived and fondly remembered by her four grandchildren, Taylor Royall & Rylee Marie Quarterman and Hannah Marie & Mason Benjamin Kloeber, along with her great-nieces and nephews, cousins, dear friends, and especially Lynda Lacompte. Joycelyn was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish where she enjoyed a long career as a paralegal with Newman-Mathis Law Office. She found pleasure in the details of everyday life and caring deeply for others. She will be remembered for her loyalty and dedication to her family, her loving spirit, her laughter, and spoiling the grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by us all.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Sunday, January 7, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to noon, followed by a funeral service in her memory beginning at noon. She will be laid to rest in a private ceremony.
