Clifford Englande appointed School Board President

School Board Vice-President Diana Dysart, Superintendent Doris Voitier, and School Board President Clifford Englande.

At the recent School Board Meeting, Clifford Englande was appointed the St. Bernard Parish Public School Board President. He was nominated by Board Member Joe Long and the nomination was seconded by Mr. Sean Warner.  Englande has been serving as a Board Member since 1995.

Englande thanked the board for the opportunity to serve and his family for their continued support.

“But I would really like to thank the employees of our school district who do the most important job each and every day. It is because of them that we are one of the top school districts in the state,” Englande said.

Serving as Vice-President is former President Diana Dysart. Having served uninterrupted since 1983, Dysart has been a true champion of public education.

Dysart said it has been a pleasure to work with such a united board.

“We are truly blessed to have a school board that works together as a team to better the lives of the children we serve. It has been an honor to serve as your president the past two years, and I look forward to working with Mr. Englande as his Vice-President in the years to come.”
