Clifford Thomas Emerick

Clifford Thomas Emerick, 52, a parishioner at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Arlington, Texas went to be with our Lord and Savior on January 31, 2018.

Clifford was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on October 22, 1965. He attended St. Louise De Marillac Catholic Elementary School and graduated from Chalmette High School in 1983. He continued on to receive his Associate’s Degree from Delfort Aircraft Tech.

He was dedicated to his work at Ingersoll Rand’s Unit Club Car for 25 years. He was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus Council 7641 and LSU Tiger Athletic Foundation.  He enjoyed travel, boiling crawfish and cookoff competitions, LSU Football, Nascar, photography, and airshows. He also had an immense love for history.

He is preceded in death by his father, George A Emerick, Sr. and brother, David A. Emerick. He is survived by his mother Beverly Chase Emerick, and siblings Ava Emerick Hirstius (Bryant), Pamela Emerick Buehler (Andy), George Emerick, Jr. (Debra Maldo), Mark Emerick (Monica Owens), Brian Emerick (Jane Murla), Candace Emerick Duvieilh (Terry), and sister-in-law Lisa Johnson Emerick. He was a proud and devoted Godfather to nieces Amber Thibodeaux Lewis (Matt) and Krista Grace Emerick as well as a mentor and loving uncle to Rachel Emerick, Michael Emerick (Jessica Lockrem ), David Emerick (Kara Hemphill), Rochelle Thibodeaux, Joshua Richards, Robyn Buehler Saucier (Anthony), Warren Buehler, Shannon Buehler, Desha’ Emerick Martin (Walt), Devon Emerick, Melissa Emerick Weems (Todd), Mark Emerick, Melinda Emerick, Chase Emerick, Thomas Duvieilh, Nicholas Duvieilh and a host of great nieces and nephews.

He is and always will be affectionately known as “Uncle Buck.”

He is also survived by his special Texas family of friends who lovingly supported him in his life.

A visitation for Clifford will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018 at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W.
