Brenda Lee Schurr Dewint went to be with the Lord on March 5, 2018. She was 74 years old. She was the cherished wife of William Louis Dewint, Jr., to whom she was married for 50 years.
Loving mother of William Louis Dewint, III, Dean Anthony Dewint (late Juanita) and Charles Joseph Dewint (Tina.) Grandmother of Dillian Paul Joseph Dewint, Kelsey Marie Dewint, Trent Anthony Dewint and Savanna Leah Dewint. She was the sister of Grant Henry Schurr (Colleen), Jeffrey Joseph Schurr (Donna), and the late Leo Anthony Schurr, Jr. (Joann.) She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo Schurr, Sr. and Joyce English Schurr. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, March 12, 2018, at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue Street, in Chalmette, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with a Mass in Brenda’s honor, at 1:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
