Forrest Mitchell Lotz, Jr., a United States Air Force Veteran, passed away on March 14, 2018. He was 83 years old.
He was born in New Orleans to the late Forrest Lotz, Sr. and Alice Cavignac Lotz. He was the loving husband of Barbara Holliman Lotz. Father of Deborah Lotz Franatovich, and father in law of Steven J. Franatovich. He was the grandfather of Wesley M. Franatovich. Brother of the late Joyce Lotz Butler. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the staff of Pearl River County Hospital and Nursing home, as well as the staff of Camellia Hospice, for their dedication and support during Forrest’s last days.
A visitation was held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., in Chalmette, on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with a Mass in Forrest’s honor at 1:00 p.m. He was laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
