Carol Heinsz Delacruz passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018, at the age of 72. Beloved wife of the late Simeon Joseph Delacruz Sr. Loving mother of Simeon Joseph Delacruz Jr. and Scott Michael Delacruz. Mother-in-Law of Lynn Delacruz and Desiree Delacruz. Daughter of the late Jacob Louis Heinsz and Barbara Montz Heinsz. Granddaughter of the late Sophie Repp Heinsz & Otto Louis Heinsz and Delia Bernucho Montz & Henry S. Montz. Proud grandmother of Jared, Victoria, Cole, Caleb and Catherine Delacruz.
Carol was born on April 21, 1945, in New Orleans, LA and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish. She will be forever remembered and deeply missed by her family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Saturday, April 7, 2018, from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM. A Memorial Mass will begin at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will follow in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
