Gloria Marie Ducombs Demma passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Alvin Andrew Demma. Loving mother of Michelle Demma Gunther (Gregory) and David Andrew Demma. Daughter of the late Albert Andrew Ducombs and Sylvanie Hounther Ducombs. Sister of Doris and the late Elaine, Sylvia, Joyce and Albert. Proud grandmother of Britta Gunther Rabalais (Ronald) and Bryton Gunther. Great grandmother of Adele Rabablais. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and her grandpups Falco and the late Mopar.
Gloria was born on April 18, 1929 in New Orleans, LA. She was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish and a current resident of Carriere, MS. She loved to sing, play nickel slots at the casinos but she especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be forever remembered and deeply missed by her family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Monday, May 21, 2018 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will begin at 1:00 PM. She will be laid to rest in St. Louis No. 3 Cemetery, New Orleans, LA.
