Chalmette Elementary recently partnered with the New Orleans Pelicans. Pelican players and cheerleaders held the Pelicans Junior Training Camp during 4th and 5th graders’ Cultural Arts time. At the camp, students learned basic basketball drills, comradery, and the rules of basketball. The students had their wingspans measured and even received two tickets to a future Pelican’s game! Everyone had an amazing time learning about basketball!
