The future of storm water management and green infrastructure implementation

The St. Bernard Parish Government (Departments of Community Development and Public Works, facilitated by the Water Collaborative of Greater New Orleans) are hosting a public discussion on The Future of Storm Water Management and Green Infrastructure Implementation in St. Bernard Parish on October 3, 2018 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the Maumus Center (721 Friscoville Ave., Arabi).

St. Bernard Parish envisions a collaboration with neighboring Parishes in implementing a Regional approach to “living with water”; a foundational planning principle that will guide the transformation of existing drainage systems, improve area soils and groundwater management, support of healthier ecosystems and sustainable building practices, and improving connectivity and the quality of public spaces and lifestyle throughout the parish.
