Members of the St. Bernard Volunteers for Family and Community filled and donated gift bags for the St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office.
The bags will be given to children taken from their parents. During these trying times, children need something to comfort them.
Each bag contained a fleece throw, toothpaste and brush, a stuffed toy and a small book. They will be divided among various Sheriff’s departments which come in contact with the children. Two Sheriff’s are, first row (6 & 7 from left) Brandy Byrd Evans and Michele Canepa.
