She married the late Clifton Bernard Ricouard on September 19, 1940, and was blessed to celebrate 56 beautiful years. They lived and raised their two children on Piety Street, in New Orleans. The grandmother of Allen Ricouard Jr. (Elyce), Tammy R. Legendre (the late Steven Legendre). Great-grandmother to Allen Ricouard III, Adam Ricouard, Steven Legendre, Noah Legendre, and Alex Ricouard. She and her husband moved to Bear St. in Arabi in 1990 where she resided until Katrina hit in 2005. Her journey places her in Pearl River, La until she was able to receive a trailer to live in Chalmette in 2007 where she later moved in with her son and daughter in 2008 where she has enjoyed living close to her family and friends. She has also been a parishioner of Christ Luthern Church since 2007 and misses seeing everyone.

She was blessed celebrating her 100 birthday with her children and grandchildren with a fried fish dinner from Today’s Ketch, cake, ice cream, and a drive-by parade with many family and friends.
