Her life began on February 27, 1925 in New Orleans, LA and continued in Arabi, LA until Hurricane Katrina forced her to move to Kenner, LA. She started a new life with new friends at Nouveau Marc retirement community. She loved her church, leading the rosary and way of the cross for her neighbors and residents.
Doris also enjoyed music, art, sewing for her family and friends, as well as playing bingo, pokeno and card games. She has been a diehard Saints fan since their beginning at Tulane Stadium, where she, Bob and other family members

Special thanks to the staff of Nouveau Marc; her nurse, Cherrie; her dear friend Sue and all of her doctors, especially Dr. Kelvin Contreary for their kindness and care for Doris over the last few years.
