A career educator, McInnis taught math, business, and horticulture at Chalmette High School for 16 years and coached girl’s and boys’ basketball and softball. After Hurricane Katrina devastated the community in 2005, McInnis helped bring back public education in St. Bernard Parish only three months after the storm flooded the entire community, serving in varying capacities in the school system as the people rebuilt in the aftermath of unprecedented devastation. This year’s Goddess Nemesis is Pamela Krementz Bennett, wife of Jim Bennett, founding board member and current Vice-President of the Knights of Nemesis.
