State testing will take place for St. Bernard Parish students throughout the months of April and May. Paper-based testing will be given to students in grades 3. Computer-based testing will be given to grades 4-8. High school students taking Algebra I, Geometry, English I, English II, Biology, and U.S. History will take the LEAP2025 assessment for each of these courses throughout the month of May.
For students in 3rd grade, testing will take place April 27-29 and May 2-3, 2022. Fourth and fifth-grade students will be taking the English Language Arts and Mathematics tests May 9-11, 2022. These students will be taking the Science and Social Studies tests on May 12, 13, and 16, 2022. Sixth through eighth-grade students will be taking the English Language Arts and Mathematics tests April 26-28, 2022. The science and social studies assessments will be administered on April 29, May 2 & 3, 2022. and May 10-11, 2021.
Students enrolled in state-approved home-study programs, district-approved virtual programs, and students currently enrolled in private or parochial schools who plan to enter public schools next year for enrollment in grades 4 or 9 must register for this test. These students may participate in testing at their district public school during the scheduled testing sessions. Registration is required for participation. Registration forms may be completed at the St. Bernard Parish School Board Administration Office at 200 E. St. Bernard Highway until April 8, 2022. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Registration forms may be faxed upon request. The last day to register for state testing with your district school is April 11, 2022.

Students currently enrolled in St. Bernard Parish public schools are not required to register for state testing.
