Fresh off a purple, green, and gold stroll on Lundi Gras, enjoyed by over 200 revelers, the Old Arabi Neighborhood Association now sets its sights on the Aycock Barn for the food, fun, and fellowship that is always a part of Sippin’ in the Sunset. The next date for this Arabi signature celebration is Thursday, March 31st from 6 to 9 pm.

Entertainment for the evening will be provided by the Christian Serpas Duo, who most recently brought mirth and music to the Zeitgeist Theater for the OANA Christmas Party.  Described by music critic Keith Spera as “a little bit of country, a little bit of rock ‘n’ roll, a little bit of rockabilly and a whole lot of fun”, Serpas said he always enjoys returning to perform in his hometown.

OANA President Alison Barrios invites everyone to come to enjoy the music, the delicious food, and all of the fun. Artists and crafters will also be on hand, showcasing a wide array of talent and shopping options.

“Sippin’ is really a celebration that brings people together,” Barrios said. “It’s always a good time and an event that so many of our friends and neighbors look forward to.”

She was also quick to credit all of the board members and volunteers who make this event possible.

“The event is a fundraiser for the OANA, and none of what we do would be possible without the tireless efforts of our volunteers.  We are really thankful for all you do to bring fun to the neighborhood.”
