Six Chalmette High School seniors advanced to the final round of interviews for the highly coveted and competitive Posse Scholarship – a four-year, full-tuition, leadership scholarship to an elite university.

Chalmette High School seniors have historically earned millions of dollars in scholarships each year, and a CHS senior has been a Posse Scholarship recipient for the last two year.

This year, of the 80 regional finalists, six are from Chalmette High School and will be interviewing with the University of Notre Dame, Tulane University, Case Western Reserve University, and Illinois Wesleyan University.

David Bellard, English teacher at Chalmette High School, coordinates the application process for students.

“We are so proud to have these six amazing young men and women representing Chalmette High School as Posse finalists. I wish each of them luck as they conduct their final interviews later this month.”
