Linda Ann Keller Oestriecher

Linda Ann Keller Oestriecher passed away peacefully on Monday, January 30, 2017 at the age of 74. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she had touched in some way throughout her life.  She was the cherished wife of 56 years to Anthony Henry Oestriecher.  Loving mother of Kim DeLuca (Tony), Keri Caruso (Jeffrey) and Scott Oestriecher (Jennifer). Daughter of the late Stanley and Anna May Keller.  Sister of Robert Keller (Tammy).  Proud grandmother of Scott Oestriecher Jr. (Lyndall), Melinda Garrett (Adam), Kaci Schmidt (Will), Dayton Garrett, Dylan Garrett, Austin Schmidt and Tori Oestriecher. Great grandmother of Lily Oestriecher. Aunt and Godmother of Bradley Keller. She is also survived and fondly remembered by many relatives, cousins, dear friends and her extended family, Amanda, Joseph, Rita, Tyler, Ashleigh, Heather, Rachel, Kallie, Ella Grace and Jace.

Linda was born in New Orleans, LA and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish before settling in Slidell, LA. She was well loved and will be forever remembered as a loving and loyal wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, friend and devoted taxi for her grandchildren. She loved her friends and treasured her family. This world was a better place with her in it.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering to be held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Wednesday, February 8th from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., followed by a funeral service in Linda’s memory beginning at 12:30 p.m. She will be laid to rest in Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery.
