The Louisiana Crawfish Festival aka “The Grand-Daddy” proudly announces the festivities for this year’s extravaganza! It’s Festival time in the metro area kicked off by the Greatest Show in Louisiana located in Chalmette at the government complex 8200 W Judge Perez Dr. Operating Hours are: Thursday, March 23rd from 5 p.m. till 10 p.m.; Friday, March 24th from 5 p.m. till midnight, Saturday, March 25th from 11 a.m. till midnight and Sunday, March 26 from 11 a.m. till 10 p.m.

Scrumptious tantalizing dishes for all tastes featuring the mudbugs with trucks loads of brew, soda and water are offered. Boiled crawfish, crawfish jambalaya, crawfish rice, crawfish bread, crawfish pasta and crawfish just about any way imaginable are at the feast.
Funnel cakes, onion mums, dogs & burgers, shish-ka-bob and sweets are prepared daily, on site. Carnival treats will also be in abundance starting off with corn dogs, buttered popcorn, candied apples, cotton candy and much, much more.

Pay One Price Rides! – $25.00
The attractions wallop the industry with rides that are thrilling and exciting. “Big or small, short or tall, we ride ‘em all.” With a giant midway wrapping around the venue, the clatter and sirens can be heard from far away galaxies. For the thrill seekers, the Sky Flier is new to the U.S. and is only operated by Mitchell Amusements. The Extreme will loop to loop at an amazing 70 miles an hour and the new Avenger will tickle the belly with a feeling of weightlessness! The festival is jam packed for the less adventurous with rides such as bumper cars, a ferris wheel and don’t forget the colorful and playful Kiddie-Land. The stage is set for approximately 30 rides and 20 game booths.
