Joseph “Joe” W. Diaz was born on June 21, 1955 and passed away after a lengthy illness on June 8, 2017. He was a resident of New Orleans and St. Bernard Parishes in Louisiana.
He is survived by his children: Alison D. Scheafer, Mandy Diaz and Joseph (Joey) V. Diaz; his grandchildren: Taylor Scheafer, Haylie Scheafer, Mario J. Guerrero, Manual & Malayna Guerrero; his sister, Debra Moore and brother Gerard (Jay) Diaz; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Joe was the former husband of Ann L. Adams and Sandra (Sandy) S. Diaz.
He was proceeded in death by his father, Gerardo (Gerry) Diaz; mother, Lugenia (Jean) Williams; sister, Linda Morel; son, Harrison Boleware; and nephew, Shannon Lee.
He was the former owner of Joe’s Quality Painting and United Cab #502. He loved singing and writing poetry, and working in the service industry.
Interment and celebration of life will be private. He will be missed by ALL until we meet again.
