St. Bernard’s Home Depot Store # 373 definitely brought to life the 2017 summer reading theme of Build a Better World when they visited the St. Bernard Parish Library recently. As part of the six-week reading program, Home Depot presented a ‘Tool Petting Zoo’ for over 100 summer readers and their parents. The entire 14 member Home Depot Leadership Team turned out for the event and brought with them a wide assortment of tools ranging from a chain saw to a jack hammer to the free event. Participants received their own Home Depot aprons and were able to see, hear, and touch each of the tools on display.
