Floyd Joseph Timberlake, 95, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2017 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Mr. Timberlake was born on November 16, 1921 to the late Allie Lewis Timberlake and William Earl Timberlake in Clio, Louisiana, and has lived in Arabi, Louisiana for the past 54 years.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 65 years, Gloria Jeanne Burdette Harris Timberlake, his son, Don F. Timberlake, and 10 brothers and sisters.
Mr. Timberlake was a devoted father and leaves behind six loving children: Carole Byrd (Emory), Arlene Farquhar (Bob), Keith Timberlake (Mayra), Wanda Dorsey (Michael Ennis), Karen “Pepper” Boniol (Johnny) and Cher Bordenave (Thomas). He is also survived by nine grandchildren whom he loved dearly: Allix Byrd, Alyssa Henry (Tina Cross), Shawn Harris, Donna Barbot (Jeremy), Angela Timberlake, Joseph Timberlake (Melissa), Nicole Dorsey (Raymond McEntee), Kristi Berthelot (Perry) and StevieLynn Miller Wright (Matthew). In addition, Mr. Timberlake is survived by nine great-grandchildren who gave him much joy: Kristen Timberlake, Jeanne Claire Phillippe, Grace Martin, Kairi Timberlake, Eoghan and Reni McEntee, Katelyn and Brayden Berthelot and Lennon Wright.
