Nunez Community College Expands Fine Arts Offerings

Additional Courses Available Starting in Spring 2018 

Nunez Community College will be offering additional studio art courses beginning with the spring 2018 semester. Courses can be taken for college credit or as noncredit courses for personal enrichment. Community members are encouraged to enroll. Spring 2018 classes begin on Tuesday, January 16, 2018.

“This is the largest amount of studio art classes offered at Nunez since 2005. We are excited to bring so many choices to our community,” said Juliette Paul-Jackson, department chair of humanities.

Spring 2018 studio art offerings at Nunez include:

  • FIAR 1000: Introduction to Drawing, Tuesday/Thursday from 1:00 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.
  • FIAR 1010: Sculpture Fundamentals, Tuesday/Thursday from 2:30 p.m. – 5:15 p.m.
  • FIAR 1700: Ceramics, Tuesday/Thursday from 6:00 p.m. – 8:45 p.m.
  • FIAR 1150: Figure Drawing, Monday/Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.
  • FIAR 2500: Watercolor, Monday/Wednesday from 2:30 p.m. – 5:15 p.m.
  • FIAR 1850: Introduction to Digital Art, Monday/Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. – 8:45 p.m.
