In this exhibition, both artists work with the human form.
Erica Larkin Gaudet abstracts the figure with torch cut, forged and welded steel components. The results are not only finished sculptural pieces but maquettes for larger scale works.
Mitchell Gaudet continues his use of found objects, repurposing both secular and non-secular statues.
Each piece is embellished with glass casting referencing milagros, votive offering and fetish objects.
The exhibition will continue to evolve as new work is added.
Artists’ lectures, demos and hot glass performances are also planned.
