Anthony Lopez Sr. passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at the age of 89. He was the beloved husband of the late Lucille Evans Lopez. Loving father of Anthony Lopez Jr., Sharon Molero, Donna Lopez and the late Manuel Lopez and Todd Jude Lopez. Son of the late Joseph and Bertha Gonzales Lopez. Anthony was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII and enjoyed a long career as a commercial fisherman, trapping, and fishing, along with his work with Dean’s Elevating Boats. His love for the New Orleans Saints was surpassed only by his love for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was our pillar of courage and strength, a wonderful father, and a wonderful example of what it means to care for others. He was well-loved and will be deeply missed by us all.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W.
