Sarah Noto Bocage passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 93. She was born on Thursday, March 13, 1924, in Tickfaw, Louisiana to the late Laura Michelli Noto and the late Vito Noto.
Sarah is survived by her beloved family; sister, Lucile Noto Bellavia of Amite, brother, Sam Noto of Walker, brother, Victor Noto of Independence, and sister Josephine Drago of Hammond. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold J. Bocage; parents, Vito and Laura M. Noto; five brothers, Carlo Noto, Vincent Noto, Frank Noto, Tony Noto, and Joe Noto; and a sister, Anna Noto Farris.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation in the chapel of Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd., Hammond, Louisiana on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Visitation will continue at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue Street, Chalmette, Louisiana on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 p.m.
Interment will follow in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens, Chalmette, Louisiana.
