St. Bernard Parish School District is excited to announce the February schedule of public showings at the Maumus Center.
Purchasing Tickets: Tickets can be PURCHASED in-person at the Maumus Center Monday, Wednesday, or Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Reserving Tickets: Audiences can also RESERVE tickets by calling (504) 301-0239 and leaving a message with the front desk. Reserved tickets must be paid for with cash on the day of the show.
Ticket Pricing: Children tickets, ages 4 – 12, are $5.00, and adult tickets are $10.00. Due to the nature of the shows, children under the age of four are not recommended to attend.
Other Important Information: All children must be accompanied by an adult. Planetarium doors close at the times listed, and attendees will not be admitted after the show begins. Please plan on arriving a few minutes early.

- 10:00 a.m., ages 4 and older (Animated video), Stars and their effect on life – Presentation; Life of Trees – Full Dome Video (animated)
- 11:30 a.m., ages 8 and older, The basics of Black Holes – Presentation; Black Holes – Full Dome Video
- 1:00 p.m., ages 8 and older (caution – can cause motion sickness), Constellations – Presentation; Space Park 360 – Full Dome simulated amusement park rides. CAUTION: can cause motion sickness
