St. Bernard Battered Women’s Program will host their 4th Annual Give a Hoot Trivia Night on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at Docville Farm in Violet, La. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and contest starts at 6:00 p.m. Registration for teams, auction items, and sponsorship forms as well as game rules can be downloaded from their website at www.StBernardbwp.org. All donations are welcome and are tax deductible. Registration per team is $180 which includes a chance to win prizes, 1 drink ticket per team member, 1 door prize ticket per team member, and dinner from local restaurants. Desserts made by local bakeries or home cooks available for purchase. Spectators welcome for $30 each, which includes 1 drink ticket, 1 door prize ticket, and dinner. (Please register so we have a headcount for food!) 1st place team is awarded $300 and a handcrafted Owl Award. Awards for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place teams also. A prize for Best Dressed Team is also awarded—theme is Fall Fest. Door prizes, Parade of Prizes, Silent Auction, and 50/50 drawings will be conducted throughout the night.
Raffle tickets are presently being sold for a 55” Toshiba Smart TV. Tickets are $2/each or 6/$10. Tickets may be purchased from any board member or staff member. (Names available on our website.) Live drawing will be held on 10/27/18 at the Trivia Night (winner does not need to be present). All proceeds benefit domestic violence program participants.
