Christmas Baskets For The Elderly And Disabled

On Thursday, December 6, 2018, and Friday, December 7, 2018, the St. Bernard Parish Government Housing Office will begin accepting applications for CSBG Christmas Baskets for the elderly and disabled.

Applications will ONLY be accepted in the Housing Office located at 8201 W. Judge Perez Drive, Chalmette, between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.  Applicants must meet CSBG income guidelines and must not have received a Thanksgiving basket this year.

All applicants must complete an application and provide the following required documentation:

  • Valid Driver’s License or State ID for all household members over the age of 18
  • Social Security cards for all members of the household
  • Verifiable Proof of Income for all household members over the age of 18
  • Current Award Letter for food stamps (if applicable)

You must have all documents present, no exceptions.

Baskets are limited and will be disbursed on December 20th from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
