The St. Bernard Parish Fire Department is hiring Firefighters. St. Bernard Parish Fire Civil Service Board is accepting applications for a written examination for the classifications of Firefighter and Fire Training Officer. The exam will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2019. St. Bernard Parish residents are encouraged to apply.
Interested persons between the ages of 18 and 35 can submit an application in one of the following ways:
- Government Building, 8201 West Judge Perez Drive, Chalmette, LA 70043 Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
- Nunez College Arts and Sciences Building, Tuesday, November 12th and Wednesday, November 13th during the following times: 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

All applications must include a copy of the following documents:
- Driver’s License
- Birth Certificate
- High School Diploma
Completed applications must be received by the Board Secretary no later than 4:30 p.m. today, Wednesday, November 13, 2019.
