Kiwanis Korner – One Day of Volunteering

Kiwanis Club of St. Bernard-Arabi Members, friends and CHS Key Club members all joined together in helping the ARC with their main fundraiser project, selling recycled and sorted beads. 22 volunteers sorted over 60 large bags of beads at the ARC's Sterling Hall location.

Kiwanis LaMissTenn District 4A and 4B comprising over 13 Kiwanis Clubs around the Greater New Orleans Area chose the ARC’s Bead Recycle Centers to volunteer at their annual One Day of Volunteering. Kiwanis One Day of Volunteering is an effort by all Kiwanis Clubs around the world to participate on the same day as a project in each of the districts. On October 24, 2020, over 100 Kiwanians, including the Kiwanis Club of St. Bernard, to help the Arc at two locations, Sterling Hall in Chalmette and the main Center on Labarre Road.
