Edna was born on May 25, 1928, in Toca, LA, and was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish. As a young girl, Edna enjoyed dancing at local dance halls. When dance partners were not available, she would cut the rug with one of her brothers! As a lover of jazz music, she accompanied Bob to various music events and concerts. She spread joy, kindness, and her love of music – everywhere she went.

After hurricane Katrina, she moved to the Dallas area to live with her daughter. She continued to enjoy jazz music and dancing. In her later life, she enjoyed winning at bingo and other activities on a regular basis. Edna enjoyed the simple things in life with her main passion being loving her family.
