Patrice Cusimano, President of The Spirit of St. Bernard Foundation said, “the awarding of these scholarships is a definite action that exemplifies our Foundation Mission Statement which is ‘to seek opportunities for community relationships and to lift up our youth.” The late, Dr. Ralph Dauterive, who served 58 years in the Kiwanis Club, and who was a founding member of the club and The Spirit of St. Bernard Foundation, valued the Kiwanis and Spirit of St. Bernard Foundation Scholarship Programs. Dr. Dauterive will be remembered for noting that the awarding of scholarships exemplifies Kiwanis and The Spirit of St. Bernard Foundations’ continuous commitment to support educational programs.
