If you missed the first blood drive – or if you gave and are eligible to donate again – please consider supporting St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office Reserve Division Lt. Tony “Te-Ton” Jeansonne, who is bravely continuing his fight against leukemia.
Te-Ton has proudly served our community for more than 25 years as a volunteer, unpaid reserve deputy, dedicating his time and energy to “Keeping St. Bernard Safe,” Sheriff James Pohlmann said.
Reserve deputies are fully-trained law enforcement officers who receive the same level of training as full-time deputies but serve without pay, driven solely by their commitment to public service. They assist with festivals, parades, athletic events, and provide extra patrols during the busy holiday shopping season.
Te-Ton is also an elected official serving as Constable of Ward J.
Your blood donation can make a real difference in his recovery, just as he has made a difference in our community in so many ways over the years.
