Fall 2025 Scholarships Available for Nunez Cybersecurity and Wind Energy Technology Programs

Two young programs at Nunez Community College are offering significant scholarships for the Fall 2025 semester and beyond.

Nunez’s Cybersecurity program is offering $1,000-per-semester scholarships to 15 students over the next four semesters. The college’s Wind Energy Technology scholarship will cover full tuition and fees for students enrolled in the program’s associate degree program for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Students in the Cybersecurity program will learn to repel online threats with hands-on training in network security, ethical hacking, cryptography and more. Completers will be equipped to protect sensitive data across multiple industries, like finance, healthcare, government and technology.

Nunez’s Wind Energy Technology program is the first of its kind in Louisiana and trains students to work on wind turbines through a curriculum approved by the Global Wind Organisation (GWO). Students who earn their associate degree and related certificates from Nunez will be qualified to enter the wind energy workforce anywhere in the world.

Fall classes begin Aug. 19.
